TOP DESIGN SITES FOR PASTORS and Non-Profits

Looking for great graphics to share on a Sunday morning or on social media hasn’t always been easy. Thankfully there are now some sites that can provide great designs without ruining your budget. Designs can be modified or created with very little design experience. Here are my “go to” sites for churches that are on a budget, but still want great graphics. They are based on budget, graphic quality, and flexibility in commitment.

ShareFaith

1. Sharefaith

My absolute favorite place for church themed graphic designs is Share Faith. With hundreds of professional looking sermon series templates and churched themed resources, you are sure to find great designs for almost any project or series you are hoping to promote. Most of their designs also come with a countdown or other design layouts that can be used for newsletters, powerpoint or bulletins. The results are seamless campaigns across all of your media platforms.

With Sharefaith is everything is laid out and designed in such a way that you can change and customize any graphic within a few minutes. The results are professional looking designs without having to know how to design professionally. Once you download the files, they are yours to keep forever. Using Photoshop, which you can purchase at a discount through Tech Soup, (Read the article on top three things you need to apply for) you can edit and change any element of the graphic. Don’t have Photoshop? Not to worry, they even have an online option using Canva where you can still make changes to any design. However, keep in mind this Canva option is only available with an active membership.

Sharefaith is offered through both a monthly or an annual membership. At the time of writing this article monthly memberships allow 30 downloads per month, where with the annual membership design downloads are unlimited. With careful planning, for a month of two of membership, smaller churches can easily download plan out designs for their entire calendar year.

Canva

2. Canva

Though there are many companies that offer sermon based graphics what I like about Canva is there’s a great selection of stock photos and Canva gives you the ability to design online. Canva has hundreds of custom templates and stock images and its really easy to edit. I have used this site when I am designing outreach events or projects that might not be found on most church design sites. This site will save you lots of time and frustration in trying to find a unique design for your events.  They have also stepped up the quality of their designs this past year offering hundreds of social media post design options.
They also give their pro version away to nonprofits, so do yourself a favor and apply and make this a “go to” place for your design needs.

Creation Swap

3. Creation Swap

Creation Swap has tons of great graphics with many of them offered for free. If you want more then their free graphics Creation swap runs on either a pay per item or a yearly membership. They also have their own version of Photoshop called Liveswap which can help you change the text. This additional feature is what makes Creation Swap stand apart from some of the other Christian content producers.
